It's that time of year again: Halloween Costume Contest time! We'll be holding costume contests on Halloween for kids and adults!

New York City - E. 7th Street, 61 Grove Street and the South Street Seaport at 19 Fulton Street

WHEN?
Tuesday, October 31st during each shop's uncover hours
WHO?
Kids, adults anyone!
Contest entrants will have their pictures taken by our staff and finalists may hold their photos posted on Big Gay Ice Cream’s Instagram or other social media accounts. Finalists and winners will be selected by Big Gay Ice Cream. Every location will hold an adult *and* a child winner, each of whom will receive a $25 Big Gay Ice Cream gift card!
Fine Print: Finalists will be posted on Instagram. A winner in each category (Kids, Adults) will be chosen for each location (E. 7th, Grove Street, Seaport - NYC, South Avenue - Philly). Winners will each receive a $25 BGIC gift card and will be announced the day after each event. Big Gay Ice Cream reserves all rights to select winners. Frequently Asked Questions
Is Your Ice Cream Kosher?
In our shops, most of the ingredients we use in our soft-serve, toppings and sauces are kosher, though not % of them. Our kitchens and shops are not certified kosher.
Are Any of Your Products Gluten-Free?
In our shops, almost all of our ice creams are gluten-free. On occasion, we may offer a unique flavor containing gluten. Observe that we always thoroughly wash and sanitize all equipment when changing flavors, regardless of ingredients. Many of our other offerings (sauces, toppings, fruit pops, floats, shakes and beverages) are also gluten-free. And we stock gluten-free ice cream cones so no one is deprived of a true cone. It's always best to notify your server know of any dietary concerns or restrictions you may have.
What Flavors Do You Serve?
In our shops our main flavors are vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of the two (just prefer it was back in our truck days). However, we’ve now expanded that to include one or two special weekly flavors. These flavors are posted on our menu boards and announced through our social media.
