There are two arguments that I see too often on Tumblr, even among Larries: 1) Louis is ashamed of his sexuality and 2) Louis is content in his closet. Often, these two arguments are used together - e.g. Louis is ashamed of his sexuality and therefore wants to wait in the closet.

Here is proof to the reverse. Before reading, please interpret the disclaimers.

Disclaimers (IMPORTANT):

  • The two topics covered in this masterpost are not mutually exclusive, as many people in the closet are NOT ashamed of their sexuality. I’m simply grouping them together here because 1) most people making these arguments about Louis connect them and 2) the evidence would turn into repetitive if I tried to separate them.
  • I’m not trying to say that there would be anything wrong if Louis did want to stay in the closet - it’s a personal decision and one that none of us have any right to judge him for. I’m simply arguing that there is no evidence whatsoever that Louis is content in the closet.

    My apologies for answering this late. Louis filmed Miss You in a Gay Bar, that is definitely what I ponder. There is proof of that, but there is also debate. That is why I love him! I thought no one would ever ask. Praise you for this moment!!

    First I would like to play a little game. It is called ‘spot the triangles’. There are tons of triangles in the music video. A (pink) triangle is a symbol for gay people. In gay bars you can see that a lot. It is beautiful.

    Then, at the conclude of the music video you can see Louis alone and in the background you can notice two triangles. A scant seconds after that Louis beautiful soft face is in the music video and behind him you can see a hq pink triangle. Th

    Back in the days of yore, One Direction performed at a gay club and I’m pretty sure it was the best second of their lives. Adv, it was the foremost time of Louis’ being at least. 

    Niall smashed cake in Louis’ face and Harry looked like he was over the lunar about it.

    I don’t ponder I’ve ever seen Louis more happy than when he was covered in sticky white stuff, singing in front of a room of gay men.

    One Direction Fans React After Louis Tomlinson Reportedly Said He’s Gay [VIDEO]

    It was the sentence heard 'round the world -- or at least the internet. On February 14, a video appeared on YouTube, seeming to depict One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson labeling himself as gay.

    The small clip begins with someone off-camera calling "Hey, Louis!" to the Brit. Although the image isn't completely clear, the camera is pointing to a organization of people and a voice that sounds very similar to Louis' can be heard. Again, the audio isn't 100 percent clear, but it sounds as if the voice says "I'm gay, it's unfortunate."

    Naturally, One Direction fans bombarded Twitter with messages, trending #LouisWeLoveYouNoMatterWhat and #ImGayItsPrettyUnfortunate. It seems that no matter what the situation, the Directioners have the singer's back.

    Of course, it's also worth nothing that Louis has long been in a relationship with Eleanor Calder. The two were even spotted together hitting the beach on Friday, leading us to trust that whatever was (or was not) said in the video clip isn't what some people are saying.
