49 yo queer guy in West Texas looking for a experience partner

posted 2 years ago

Checked this site out years ago, and there were only a couple of posts from male lover guys, so looks enjoy it has expanded a bit, which is wonderful. Looking for a animation partner.  I'm 49, 5'9" 170 lbs, fit, kinda geeky but outdoorsy, somewhat submissive/easy going demeanor. I have an MFA in painting, but have worked in education most of the various jobs I've had.  Attracted to most guys with purpose/drive/stability who are fit and who are at least a little more dominate/aggressive than me.  There are more than a few guys on this site I find attractive--anyone who uses their body outdoors/has some ruggedness--it's a huge plus. Age is not a huge issue, but it would be nice if you are within 10 years of my age.  Most importantly, I've been a pemaculturist in West Texas (Lubbock) for over twenty years, and I'm looking for a boyfriend who has/wants a similar lifestyle, with sustainability/climate modify action as a priority.    Anyway, I currently live off-grid in the city but have always wanted to build my own off-grid underground abode somewhere in the southwest with diggable land enjoy L

Disclaimer: A "gay bar" is a term that can be used for a bar that is exlusively or predominantly frequented by LGBTQ+ individuals.

On a cold west Texas night, not that distant ago, I joined my friends to gather around the warmth of a lighted dance floor with a mirrored disco ball hanging from above, moving to the tubthumping of a 2000-watt speaker, while drinking in the traditional and not so traditional spirits of the “gay bar”.

The lines between gay and straight nightlife have maintained a significant split as long as bars have existed here in Lubbock. Yes, a gay person does depart to a straight block and vice versa.  But living in the second most conservative city in the United States (2006 poll), those that self-identify as gay, lesbian, attracted to both genders, transgender, or queer, uncover slim pickings these days for an open evening on the town.

Anyone looking for a place to meet knows where to go for nightlife to find something unlike, out of the average, and authentic to themselves. The gay bar is the place to be if you find yourself not fitting in. Linear folx I know, who find themselves at the gay bar, are there becaus
