Gay sauna kapstadt
Visiting The HotHouse Steam and Leisure came with tall expectations. After two weeks of traveling this fascinating country I came to acknowledge the high common of tourism, accommodations and attractions. These people recognize how to host! This eventually led to a slight disappointment where it comes to its available gay sauna in the Cape Town. The HotHouse Steam and Leisure is located in a attractive neighborhood but lacks the South African hospitality standards. Firstly, the sauna is currently being renovated, and the smell of fresh paint is very show. That said, it seems theres still a lot of work to be done.
Entry was quite economical if compared to western Europe. R per person including one towel and complimentary flip-flops which is a nice touch. Your locker includes 1 condom and 1 lube. Condoms are freely spread around the venue for you to use. My locker was actually half broken 😦 .
Cleanliness
Unfortunately I cannot call this place unsoiled. Cigarette butts can be found on the floors that could use a swipe of bleach as well as rust and mold covering parts of the walls. The soap dispensers were empty at the toilets and the general look just did not seem very hygienic.
Gay Guide Cape Town - Western Cape
Cape Town, acknowledged to its locals as the Mother City, is Africa's self-proclaimed gay capital. It also just happens to be one of the world’s most gorgeous cities: a cosmopolitan town nestled between the heights of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles and the superb beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. If you are into innate beauty, try the view from Table Mountain or a wander through the Winelands (Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl). If beaches are your thing, check out Clifton 3rd, Camps Bay or the nudist Sandy bay. If it's shopping that turns you on, look no further than the Waterfront or the other proud members of Cape Town's Big Five shopping Centres. De Waterkant - Cape Town's Male lover Village. Centrally situated and within walking distance of the City Centre and the V&A Waterfront, and a few minutes trip from the best beaches. If you want to sleep with, and/or ingest, drink or shop around "family", then de Waterkant is a good choice! Cape Town has everything the gay traveller can want.
First things first, you need to visit Cape Town. It is an absolute must! The first period we visited we had no idea what to expect or what it would be like to be gay in Cape Town. However, we adv fell in love with this incredible city and found that ‘gay Cape Town, South Africa’ really does exist!
Cape Town as a destination is truly spectacular. It is a modern city surrounded by breath-taking nature. Its mountain ranges including the iconic Table Mountain are awe inspiring, its white sand beaches perfect in the summer and of course we have to note the many rolling hills filled with beautiful wineries.
Beyond its natural beauty, there is an abundance of exciting wildlife to observe. Here you can leave whale watching, visit ostrich farms, see seals at the V&A Waterfront, hundreds of penguins at Boulders Beach and for the brave, go great colorless shark cage diving!
Luckily for us, Cape Town also happens to be a very popular gay explore destination (which we never knew) and has been for a number of years. Perhaps after reading this gay guide to Cape Town it will come as no surprise that we decided to live here for 3 months!
So lets get on to our Cape Town Gay Guid
