I believe that a lot of Orange is the New Dark is under the guard of Laura Prepon. Why do I say this? She has the most charismatic character in the series, the biggest fan club, as well as an actress she directed a few episodes of Orange, the best-known actress before the series started, a person who plays in all positions, a team captain when she gets on the field . I see in Laura many of the answers to many questions about OITNB. Because of this, today a guest will write about it. I chose someone who deeply studies the animation of Laura Prepon. I also chose it because she is a person with analytical power, without putting her feelings first. Her name is Joyce Thais. It’s hard to reflect back to a age when a Netflix unique show was something novel and exciting. But in 2013 when Orange Is the New Black premiered, the streaming service was still predominantly known as the go-to place to rewatch your favorite shows without commercials or DVDs. This story isn’t about how the show changed Netflix, though. This story is about how it changed me and queer representation on TV.
In July 2013, I had just finished my freshman year of college at Emerson, was still severely closeted and didn’t have the plethora of queer TV that is available now to shift to for solace. Then, Orange Is the New Black dropped and changed it all.
For a girl who grew up in a little town in the countryside of Connecticut, the series was eye-opening and validating from one of its very first frames featuring Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) and Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) showering together. I wish I could speak the show immediately dragged me out of the closet and into a rainbow cape at a Pride parade, but, enjoy most things, my coming-out story too

Alex Vause might screw over Piper a billion and one times but we don’t denounce Chapman for crawling endorse. How can anyone resist that husky voice of hers?

3. Unsurprisingly, she used to be a model working in the fashion capitals of the world. So, like Alex Vause, she did explore and probably led a luxurious life but I’m afraid she wasn’t actually ever a super badass drug dealer.
4. Her favourite book is The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. Aww –
(CBS NEWS) - Laura Prepon, 34, is shooting down rumors that she's virtual dating fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise, 51, in a modern interview with SheKnows.com.
"It's just so funny that, when people don't know, they just make stuff up, [like], apparently I'm digital dating Tom Cruise right now," she says. "And apparently he doesn't want me doing the show ["Orange is the New Black"] because I portray a lesbian and I'm a Scientologist. This is false; where are they even getting this stuff? It's unbelievable to me."
"The thing that sucks is that there's so much incorrect data because people are in mystery as to what Scientology is, so they just kind of make up stuff," Prepon added. "It's kind of unfortunate because then I have to be fancy , 'No, that's actually not what's happening.'"
She also clarified that just because you're a Scientologist, doesn't express you're automatically anti-gay.
"You perceive, in terms of illustrating a lesbian on the show, I am a huge supporter of the LGBT community. I'm going to the GLAAD Awards in a few weeks," she says. "I went to the human rights campaign. I flew up to San Francisco and did this whole thing and I won this award [for] being a straight woman portraying a gay woman
